b. Dessau (Germany), Nov. 28, 1851, 
d. Vienna, Jan. 9, 1937. Landscape painter, studied at Vienna Academy 
as well as in Duesseldorf and Karlsruhe, worked in Vienna from 1876 
on; had contact with the artists' circle around E.J.  Schindler, known 
for his landscape paintings.
