!!!Dassanowsky, Elfriede Elfi

b. Vienna, Feb. 2, 1924, musician. Studied piano and singing at the 
Vienna Musikhochschule*, founded the theatre "Das Podium" in 1946 and 
together with E. Hanus the Belvedere film production company. Appeared 
in two of the films produced by this company (Die Gluecksmuehle, 1947; 
Der Leberfleck, 1948). Later was a concert pianist, singer, revue 
artiste and teacher of music. Has lived in the USA since 1955, where 
she has been a voice teacher, film producer and business woman and has 
rendered outstanding service as a promoter of Austrian culture.
