Dauthage, Adolf#
b. Rustendorf near Vienna, Feb. 20, 1825, d. Vienna, June 3, 1883. Lithographer and painter. Created mostly lithograph portraits (spent 4 years at the studio of J. Kriehuber), made portraits of the members of the Academy of Sciences, of the Medical Faculty of the University of Vienna, of various actors, etc.; also made lithographs of other painters' works (F. G. Waldmueller, J. M. Ranftl, F. Mallitsch and A. Schoenn).
