!!!Defereggental

Defereggen Valley (Defereggental), about 40 km long, western 
lateral valley of the Iseltal valley; drained by the Schwarzach 
stream, which rises close to the Affentalspitz group and flows into 
the Isel stream. The valley, situated to the north of the  Defereggen 
Mountains, is considered one of Austria´s most beautiful Alpine 
valleys. Its best known tourist resort is St. Jakob in Defereggen 
(alt. 1,389 m); other villages: St. Veit, Hopfgarten.
