From 1827 teacher of aesthetics at the diplomatic academy "Theresianum" in Vienna; 1829-1849 editor-in-charge of the literary annual "Jahrbuecher der Litteratur" in Vienna; 1832-1841 literary manager and assistant head of the Hofburgtheater (appointed by C. Laroche, C. Enghaus, as successor to J.
