Delavilla, Franz Karl, b. Vienna, Dec. 6, 1884, d. Frankfurt 
am Main (Germany), Aug. 2, 1967. Graphic artist, illustrator and 
designer. Studied at the Schools of Arts and Crafts in Vienna, 
Magdeburg and Hamburg, from 1913 to 1950 taught at various graphic art 
schools in Frankfurt am Main. Works include wood carvings and 
illustrations; designed posters and greeting cards for the  Wiener 
Werkstaette; also designed theatre sets.
