!!!Delegationen

Delegations, representative bodies at the time of the monarchy,
composed of 120 members of both parliaments (60 of the Austrian
Reichsrat and 60 of the Hungarian Imperial Diet), as provided by the
Austro-Hungarian Compromise of 1867; in session once a year from
January 1868, alternately in Vienna and Budapest, passed resolutions
on the financing of common affairs after separate deliberations. The
delegations were not entitled to enact laws. The three imperial
ministries were responsible to them. Both the arrangement and
procedure of their meetings were such as to avoid the impression that
the delegations were a joint parliament of the dual monarchy.
