Dellach im Drautal, Carinthia, municipality in the district of Spittal 
an der Drau, alt. 614 m, pop. 1,869, area 76.10 km%%sup 2/%, 
summer holiday resort (59,671 overnight stays) where the Drassnitzbach 
stream flows into the River Drau/Drava. - Forestry inspectorate, 
Dielenbach I and Dielenbach II power stations; forestry and wood 
manufacturing, concrete works, carpet weaving. - First documented in 
1267, late Baroque parish church (end of 18%%sup th/%  century) with 
wall paintings (1829), Stein Castle (12%%sup th/%  century, partly 
Romanesque) on a steep cliff 200 m above the valley bottom.
