Denifle, Heinrich Suso, b. Imst (Tyrol), Jan. 16, 1844, 
d. Munich (Germany), June 10, 1905. Historian, Dominican, carried 
out significant research on Luther; 1870 lecturer in Graz; 1883 
archivist at the Vatican Archives; researched mysticism as well as the 
history of culture and the Church in the Middle Ages.
