Denk, Wolfgang, b. Linz (Upper Austria), March 21, 1882, 
d. Vienna, Feb. 4, 1970. Surgeon, professor at the University of 
Graz (1928-1931), then in Vienna; renowned for cancer research. 
Nominated as a candidate by the Austrian People's Party (OeVP) and 
Austrian Freedom Party (FPOe) for the Austrian presidential election 
in 1957, lost to A.  Schaerf.
