Hoard Finds, findings of collections of historical objects, partly of 
different materials. Hoards have been common since the Bronze Age and 
are often a sign of unsafe times. Hoards dating from the Middle Ages 
and modern times are mainly coin hoards. Often, however, they also 
include utensils which provide information about every-day life in the 
times in which they were made.
