Deutsch, Gustav, b. Vienna, May 19, 1952, film director and 
performing artist. Studied at the Vienna University of Technology; 
since 1977 video director and since 1981 director of short films; 
since 1983 performing artist, with appearances all over Europe. His 
film "Film ist" (1998) received a number of important 
awards.
