Deutsch, Leopold, b. Vienna, Nov. 11, 1853, d. Vienna, Feb. 
5, 1930. Actor; performed at Austrian and German theatres, in St. 
Petersburg and at the Stadttheater in Vienna; played comedy character 
roles in Viennese operettas; in 1880 established the Viennese 
"Schlaraffia" (men's society for art and humour); also wrote feature 
articles for newspapers.
