under H. Rohracher, W. Graf and others; since 1972 at the Austrian 
Academy of Sciences (phonogram archives, since 1978 acoustics 
research, head of the electronic acoustics laboratory); numerous 
publications on the psychoacoustic component of the experience of 
music, speech recognition, digital signal processing, noise research, 
etc.
