Dick, Inge, b. Vienna, Jan. 15, 1941, photographer and
painter. Began as an autodidact; from 1962 studied at the Hochschule
fuer angewandte Kunst (now University of Applied Art) in Vienna.
Created conceptional paintings in the tradition of classic modernism;
in the 1980s Polaroid photographs became central elements of her
works. In 2000 she developed the largest Polaroid camera in the world
for an exhibition project in Halle.
