Dittes, Paul, b. Vienna, July 16, 1871, 
d. Vienna, March 4, 1940. Engineer, son of Friedrich  Dittes; 
initiated the electrification of the railway in western Austria after 
1918, 1931 to 1933 president of the Association of Engineers and 
Architects.
