Dor, Milo eigentlich Milutin Doroslovac, Pseudonyme Alex Lutin, Alexander Dormann#
b. Budapest (Hungary), March 7, 1923. Narrative writer and translator of Serbian and Croatian literature. Grew up in Belgrade from 1933, arrested as communist resistance fighter in 1942 and deported to a labour camp in Vienna. Since 1945 D. has written in German, mainly novels and novellas criticising contemporary times or dealing with historical subjects, as well as screenplays and newspaper features. Awarded the A. Gryphius Prize in 1998.
