b. Vienna, Feb. 28, 1917, 
d. Vienna, Dec. 19, 1988. Dancer, performed in the State Opera Ballet 
in Vienna at age 12, solo ballerina 1935; prima ballerina 1949. Danced 
all roles in the classical repertoire, also worked in film and as a 
choreographer.
