!!!Drasche-Wartinberg, Heinrich von
b. Brno, Czech Republic (then Bruenn) April 19, 1811,
d. Inzersdorf, Vienna, July 24, 1880, industrialist; father of Richard
von Drasche-Wartinberg. Expanded the brick factory in the south of
Vienna, which he inherited from his uncle Alois Miesbach (
Wienerberger Baustoffindustrie AG) and in 1861/1862 commissioned T.
Hansen to build the "Heinrichhof" (opposite the Vienna State Opera);
the building was destroyed in 1945 (later replaced by the
"Opernringhof").
