d. Vienna, Dec. 8, 1925, musician. Epigone of the Strauss dynasty. 
1868/1869 played under J.  Strauss the Younger, founded his own 
orchestra in 1874. Grave of honour in the Zentralfriedhof cemetery in 
Vienna.
