Drexel, Gerhard, b. Dornbirn (Vorarlberg), Aug. 7, 1955, 
manager. Studied business management at the Hochschule St. Gallen (now 
University of St. Gallen) and social science and economics at the 
University of Innsbruck. Became a business planner in Switzerland 
(Coop) and strategy consultant at the St. Gallen Management Institute. 
Since 1990 member of the board of  SPAR Oesterreichische 
Warenhandels-AG and since 2001 Chairman of the Board.
