hardware factory in Vienna, 1948-51 Guildmaster of the locksmiths' and 
fitters' guild in Vienna, 1950-53 Chairman of the Crafts Section of 
the Vienna Chamber of Commerce, 1950-62 member of the ''Nationalrat'' 
(National Council), 1952-75 ''Zensor'' (rating consultant) of the 
Austrian Central Bank, 1953-61 President of the Bundeskammer der 
gewerblichen Wirtschaft ( Wirtschaftskammer Oesterreich).
