kapellmeister, composer between late Baroque and early Classicism; 
belonged to the circle of friends around Mozart's family (influenced 
the young W. A.  Mozart).

Numerous sacred works (incl. 70 masses), 21 oratorios, 61 
didactic dramas, 3 operas (not preserved), instrumental music, organ 
works.
