Edolanz, post-classical Aventiure romance ( Courtly Epics), probably 
written by an Austrian poet around 1250; preserved in two fragments 
(Seitenstetten, Vienna); excerpts (380 verses) from a novel about 
Knight Edolanz, who proves himself in battle, sieges of towns and in 
fights against giants and wild animals.
