b. Vienna, Nov. 18, 1866, d. in a concentration camp, 1944, 
leading industrialist in the energy sector, son of Bela  Egger; 
Director General of "Vereinigte Elektrizitaets AG" and founder of 
Austrian Brown-Boveri Werke AG (electricity companies) in 1902; member 
of the administrative, supervisory or management boards of 26 
corporate groups and public limited companies: built the Lebring power 
station on the River Mur with remote transmission lines, first power 
station in Austria with primary voltage of 22.000 V.
