!!!Ehrbar, Friedrich

b. Hildesheim (Germany), April 26, 1827, 
d. Hart near Gloggnitz (Lower Austria), Feb. 23, 1905, piano 
manufacturer, took over Eduard Seuffert's piano factory in 1855, which 
he managed under his own name until 1898, when it was taken over by 
Friedrich E. Jr. E. was the first in Austria to use a cast-iron frame 
in piano construction.
