d. Vienna, Feb. 19, 1922, conductor, made concert tours throughout 
Europe with his sister, the piano virtuosa Ilona E.; then became a 
repetiteur in Vienna, later a conductor at all major theatres in 
Austria (including the Theater an der Wien) and Germany. 1908-1922 
manager of the Carltheater in Vienna.
