Ellboegen, Tirol, municipality in the district of Innsbruck - Land, 
alt. 1,070 m, pop. 949, area 34.47 km%%sup 2/%, in Wipptal 
valley, south of Innsbruck. Small tourist centre. - The parish church, 
originally built in Gothic style (first documented mention 1286), was 
redone in Baroque style, Kratzer chapel in Inner-Ellboegen with late 
Gothic winged altar (around 1520).
