Donkey, the only Austrian breed of donkeys is the Austro-Hungarian 
Albino donkey, real Albinos with red eyes and yellowish coat; it was 
bred in the Baroque, an imitation of the purely white ideal of horses. 
Today, this breed of donkey is highly endangered; at the moment there 
are only 5 donkeys living in Herberstein (Styria), altogether there 
are probably only 20-25 such donkeys.
