d. Vienna, Oct. 24, 1915, landscape, genre and portrait painter, 
studied at the Academy in Vienna; 1872-1887 also lived in Italy, 
influenced by A. von  Pettenkofen, returned to Vienna, from 1898 
lived and worked in Salzburg.
