Eumig, founded in 1919, electrical and electronics company, from 1931 
production of substandard-gauge film projectors and until 1960 also 
production of radio and television sets. Factories in Wiener Neudorf, 
Fuerstenfeld, Fohnsdorf, Kirchdorf an der Krems, Bad 
Deutsch-Altenburg, 1981 bankruptcy at a time when the company had 
6,000 employees.
