Experiment am Liechtenwerd, Vienna theatre group founded by E. 
Pateisky and E. Pikl in 1955 under the name "Experiment", principal 
theatre in the 9%%sup th/%  district of Vienna; programme used to 
focus mainly on the French theatre of the absurd; today the emphasis 
on first performances of works by Austrian writers.
