!!!Export, Valie eigentlich Waltraud Höllerer

b. Linz (Upper Austria), May 17, 1940, video, film and photographic 
artist; attracted attention with a photographic self-portrait in 1956, 
studied at the Vienna Textile School from 1960 to 1964; since 1968 has 
been engaged in "conceptual" photography. In 1975 organized the 
feminist exhibition "Magna". Numerous projects and films; teaches 
at the School of Arts in Berlin; Oskar Kokoschka Prize in 2000.
