!!!Fürst, Paul Walter

b. Vienna, April 25, 1926, viola soloist and composer. Studied 
violin at the University of Music in Vienna with W.  Boskovsky and 
harmony with J.  Marx; from 1951 solo violist with the  Lower Austrian 
''Tonkuenstlerorchester'' and from 1954 with the Munich Philharmonic 
Orchestra; 1961-90 member, and 1986-90 managing member, of the Vienna 
Philharmonic Orchestra. Has been active in numerous interest groups 
representing artists' concerns; President of  AKM since 1998.

Dorian Gray, 1963 (Ballet); works for orchestra, chamber music, 
choral music.
