d. Graz (Styria), Dec. 25, 1983, author; studied sociology,
philosophy, zoology and mathematics; from 1969 research and teaching
assistant of sociology at the University of Graz; 1980 habilitation.
His short prose forms and poetry are akin to those of the Vienna Group
in that they deal with the problem of evoking social reality by means
of language.
