Falkenstein Hills, Lower Austria, isolated hillswith cliffs consisting 
of Jurassic limestone in the northern Weinviertel region; together 
with the Leiser mountains und the Pollau hills (Czech Republic), the 
Falkenstein hills form an important geological connection between the 
Eastern Alps and the Carpathian mountains. Highest peak: Galgenberg 
hill (425 m).
