!!!Favianis
Favianis, a castle mentioned in the Notitia Dignitatum, built in late
antiquity, housing a unit of Roman legionnaires (Liburnarii of the
legio I Noricorum). In the Vita Severini, Favianis appears as a
monastery where St. Severinus, who died there in 482, performed his
works; known today as Mautern an der Donau.
