Felix Austria, food manufacturer, founded in 1958 by H. Felix in 
Mattersburg, Austrian market leader for ketchup, spaghetti sauces and 
tinned vegetables; other areas of production include ready-to-eat 
meals and pickled vegetables (pickles, sauerkraut, etc.). Along with 
its subsidiary GVG (Gemuese Verarbeitungsgesellschaft), located in 
Neusiedl am See in Burgenland since 1988, F. A. posted sales of ATS 
710 million in 1993 and had 389 employees.
