Felixdorf, Lower Austria, market town in the district of Wiener 
Neustadt, alt. 282 m, pop. 4,035, area 2.48 km%%sup 2/%, in the 
southern portion of the Vienna Basin between Wiener Neustadt and 
Leobersdorf. - Cultural centre, water works; until recently a textile 
company was located in Felixdorf. As a result of the general crisis in 
the Austrian textile industry, industrial activity has gone through a 
phase aimed at establishing smaller enterprises in several different 
sectors. - Founded in 1822 as the "Colonis" of Wiener Neustadt; 
Felixdorf has been a municipality since 1889.
