and copperplate engraver, pupil of M. J. Schmidt. first artist
in Austria to adopt A. Senefelder's lithographic technique (1814).
reproductions of famous works of art, devotional pictures, historical
pictures, portraits and topographical representations. founded the
collection of Lambach Monastery.>
