!!!Fischer, Daniel

b. Krems (Lower Austria), July 12, 1773, 
d. St. Aegyd am Neuwalde (Lower Austria), June 30, 1833, owner of 
mechanical forges; father of Anton von  Fischer-Ankern. Together with 
his father Jakob F. (1743-1809) founder of Austria's sabre production, 
manufactured files, wire, sheet iron and crucible steel. His son Anton 
von F.-Ankern integrated the forging mills into a Public Limited 
Company in 1869.
