Fitzner, Rudolf, b. Ernstbrunn (Lower Austria), May 4, 1868, 
d. Salzburg, Feb. 2, 1934, violinist. In 1894 founded the F.- string 
quartet. Numerous first performances under his guidance. From 1911 
violin virtuoso of the King of Bulgaria.
