b. Hehenberg (municipality of Bad Hall, Upper Austria), Sept. 24, 1686, 
d. Kremsmuenster (Upper Austria), Jan. 21, 1759, Benedictine; uncle of 
Placidus  Fixlmueller. From 1731 abbot of  Kremsmuenster. Initiated 
the establishment of the  Mathematischer Turm (Mathematics Tower), the 
physics cabinet and the library of the abbey.
