Flea Market, market for second hand goods. The best-known flea market 
in Vienna has been held since 1977 between the Rechte and Linke 
Wienzeile (near Kettenbrueckengasse) (1994: 215 permanent stands for 
commercial vendors, 46 double stands and 179 single stands for private 
vendors). Throughout Austria flea markets of various sizes are 
sponsored by parishes, associations and private organisations at 
different times of the year.
