!!!Fohnsdorfer Becken

Fohnsdorf Basin, Upper Styria, widening of the Mur valley in the  
Aichfeld Plain in the north and the Mur/Mura floor in the south, a 22 
kilometre-long basin formed in the Tertiary period  Norische Senke 
Depression, in the past the Fohnsdorf Basin was economically 
significant due to its lignite deposits ( Fohnsdorf).
