Francia, Domenico, b. Bologna (Italy), Oct. 19, 1702, 
d. Bologna (Italy), 1758, stage and architectural painter. From 
1723 worked for the court and the nobility in Vienna (esp. stage 
painting). After 1748 participated in painting frescoes in 
Klosterneuburg, Herzogenburg and in the old university of Vienna. 
Returned to Bologna in 1756.
