b. Vienna, May 12, 1901, 
d. Vienna, June 24, 1965, painter and graphic artist. A member of the  
Noetscher Kreis (Noetsch Circle) of painters, based his œuvre on 
the study of the works of P. Cezanne and those of the old (esp. Dutch) 
masters. Emigrated to England in 1938.

Stillleben mit Zitronen, 1925; Blick auf Wien vom Belvedere 
aus, 1947/1948; "In memoriam", (cycle of 18 paintings), 1960-1964.
