Frauental an der Lassnitz, Styria, market town in the district of 
Deutschlandsberg, alt. 332 m, pop. 2,949, area 15.54 km%%sup 2/%, 
industrial and business centre in the Lassnitz valley northeast of 
Deutschlandsberg on the "Schilcherweinstrasse" ("Schilcher Wine 
Route"). - 80 % of employment is in the production sector: timber 
processing (two sawmills), porcelain and meat industry, manufacturing 
of containers and agricultural machinery. "Schloss Frauental" golf 
course (municipalities of Frauental and Deutschlandsberg). Frauental 
Castle (1542) and Gothic Baroque church located on Ulrichsberg 
mountain (municipality of Deutschlandsberg).
