in Vienna, 1970 vice-governor of the Oesterreichische Postsparkasse 
(Austrian Postal Savings Bank), 1975-1979 vice-general manager of the 
Girozentrale bank, 1979-1993 general manager of the Oesterreichische 
Elektrizitaetswirtschafts AG and of the Bundeslastverteiler (load 
dispatching authority); since 1981 honorary professor at the Vienna 
University of Economics and Business Administration; numerous 
publications on economic and political issues.
