!!!Frieberth Friberth, Karl

Frieberth (Friberth), Karl, b. Wullersdorf (Lower Austria), June 7, 1736, 
d. Vienna, Aug. 6, 1816, singer (tenor) und librettist; until 1776 
member of the orchestra of Prince Esterházy. J.  Haydn wrote 
numerous parts for him. F. wrote the libretto for the opera 
"L´incontro improviso" (1775) by J. Haydn. From 1771 was a 
member of the "Wiener Tonkuenstlersozietaet", a musical society in 
Vienna, and conductor of an orchestra in Vienna in 1776.
